Parc Series : Mont Royal

It was a gorgeous afternoon, way too nice to pass up and given the pending weekend crapitude weather forecast, I decided to head out,  camera in hand. ( you do know your boss might be reading this! )

I miss the vibe of the inner city parks. This place is teaming with city dwellers when the weather cooperates. Couples young and old congregate, cross training runners and cyclists loop the circuit. Today, park benches  and grassy knolls are filled with those yearning for the last bit of autumn sunshine.

Photographer’s Perspective :    Nothing beats a sunny fall afternoon for taking shots. Aside from the vibrant colors and blue skies, the low arcing sun produces pleasing long shadows and great contrast. It is also still warm enough to feel your fingers when depressing the shutter button.

Total walking time for this adventure, 4 hrs with a coverage of 13 km, according to Strava 😉
